Frequently Asked Questions

Which lane should I use on a roundabout?

Left lane for the 1st or 2nd exit. Right lane for the 3rd exit or beyond. On mini roundabouts with one lane, stay in the single lane. Always check road markings as they may differ.

When should I signal on a roundabout?

Signal left when taking the 1st exit. No signal needed on approach when going straight ahead. Signal right when going past the 2nd exit. Always signal left before you leave the roundabout.

What does 'give way to the right' mean?

In the UK, traffic on the roundabout has priority. When approaching, you must give way to vehicles already on the roundabout coming from your right. Wait for a safe gap before entering.

Is this simulator free?

Yes, completely free. No account or payment required. Choose from 4 roundabout types with adjustable traffic density.
